Due to securing multiple high-profile projects, they are seeking a driven Project Engineer to join their growing and experienced team.
About the Position As a pivotal member of a dynamic project team, the Project Engineer will be at the forefront of ensuring the successful execution of large-scale projects valued over $100 M across Canberra, right from the design stage through to completion.
You will work directly with the Project Manager and Construction Manager to ensure the project is delivered to a high standard with a strong focus on WHS legislation.
Duties Manage and track project costs, including budgeting, forecast and cost control measures Assist in the preparation and review of projects contracts, change orders, and RFIs Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure site team adheres to safety guidelines Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications and reports Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other projects stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project progression Lead the coordination of design and construction documents to ensure seamless execution of the project Skills & Experience Tertiary of Trade Qualification in a building related discipline is preferable.
Proven record of monitoring, managing, and complying with WHS and Quality Assurance processes and a Site/Project Engineer or similar.
Showcase a strong track record of stability with previous employers.
Proven understanding of construction process and projects management methodologies.
High-rise residential experience is highly desirable.
