About the Company: Our client is a privately owned Commercial Construction Company, known for its expertise in delivering a wide range of construction projects across various sectors including commercial, residential, health, education, retail, and industrial. They operate nationally throughout Australia.
Position Description: With a strong pipeline of work already under construction, they are looking for a Project Engineers to join the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, honest, reliable, and hungry to learn to step into this role and join this growing organisation. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the project, planning, coordinating, and ensuring successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the seamless coordination and management of Engineering Works within the assigned Project Collaborate on budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Procure materials, manage equipment, and coordinate subcontractors. Track expenses and manage cost control measures. Identify and mitigate project risks, and enforce safety protocols. Maintain stakeholder relations and document project progress. Ideal Candidate: Construction Management or Civil Engineering Degree is preferred. Strong quality and cost control skills. Ability to write long-term and short-term construction programs. Local experience with a proven track record delivering completed projects within the Commercial, Education, Industrial, and Health sectors. Strong programming, budgeting, people management, and communication skills.
