ABOUT THE ROLE The Civil Construction Project Engineer is responsible for maintaining all technical construction and quality information across various projects. This includes deriving ITPs from build specifications, providing project-specific engineering expertise, and creating and maintaining the project Manufacturing Data Report (MDR). You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will also be involved in budget management, resource allocation, quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Project Engineer is expected to have excellent communication and computing skills across a wide range of platforms.
Full-time permanent ongoing positionFIFO ex Perth to site (applicants can also be residential to Geraldton and surrounding suburbs)Reporting directly to our Construction/Project ManagerLocation: various sites and scopes around regional WA as required for each civil projectJOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Provide site-specific engineering expertiseMaintain site registers, EOT, RFI, variations and prepare for review and submissionUndertake site-specific SWMSMaintain project systemsProject tracking and reportingLiaise with Managers and Project Coordinators/AdministratorsCommunicate with and manage sub-contractors and suppliersProcurement and engagement of subcontractors and materialsSKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in civil construction project engineering or related rolesDemonstrated knowledge of SWMSKnowledge of Main Roads specifications & standardsStrong understanding of construction methods, project management principles, and contract administrationDemonstrated understanding of specifications and ability to derive ITPs from specificationsProficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project)Motivated and enthusiastic work ethic with a high degree of integrityPhysically fit and able to work long hoursStrong teamwork focusComplete satisfactory pre-employment medicals (including Drug & Alcohol testing)EDUCATION, LICENCES AND TRAINING Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or related field"C" Class Licence minimum (HR highly desirable)Construction Induction (White/Blue card)WHY WORK FOR RED DUST HOLDINGS Positive rewarding work and safety cultureWeekly pay + superannuation paid on all hours workedSite uplift where applicableDirect line to upper managementA fast-paced but inclusive, involved, and supportive work environmentWell maintained and late model equipmentVariety in job specifications and scopes of workGenuine recognition within the company as a member of the team and not a numberAccess to our EAP - Employee Assistance ProgramIf this sounds like an ideal opportunity for you, please submit your resume via seek, or send directly to ******.
