Our client is a licenced Fibre Telecommunications Carrier that has fibre optic infrastructure network across Australia.
It provides point to point dark fibre solutions for businesses wanting to have optimum security, increased storage and full control over their fibre.

The purpose of this position description is to clearly articulate the organisations expectations on effectively and efficiently deliver services in a safe and professional manner that achieves a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Overview: The company are taking on some large Telecommunication infrastructure builds around Australia and require an experienced Project Engineer to help in the delivery its projects.
This Project Engineer role will be responsible for delivering all aspects of this organisation's infrastructure projects, contractor liaison, OH&S management, and client specification compliance with regulatory requirements.
The Project Engineer will act as the primary interface between the infrastructure contractors, technical teams, Project Managers and the Fibre Infrastructure Manager for the delivery of network infrastructure, operating independently and effectively across different functional groups and stakeholders.
This position is a 75/25 field to office-based role.
Overall Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with the company's Management System including all company policies, systems and procedures.
Carry out work instructions and/or job requirements set by the Fibre Infrastructure Manager, Head of Operations or the General Manager.
Ensure the plans and objectives of management are achieved.
Ensure productivity, safety, environmental and quality standards are achieved.
Ensure safety instructions are adhered to and report any inappropriate practices and incidents.
Comply with Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 by: Take reasonable care for their own health and safety; Take reasonable care for the health and safety of persons who may be affected by the employee's acts or omissions while at work; Position Duties and Requirements: Manage multiple projects Drive the delivery of current and future infrastructure projects Full responsibility for the life cycle of projects, from commencement, project completion and handover Interpret and read relevant technical specifications Liaise with internal and external clients to build relationships and assist with the delivery of the project objectives Actively solve problems and implement corrective action relating to the ongoing management of projects Carry out pre-start project scope assessments and site visits identifying any risks and confirming scope, build-ability and schedule Monitor and maintain quality of deliverables throughout project Deliver daily updates and forecast of works Build effective relationships with all levels of the organisation, suppliers and most importantly our clients Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to plan and coordinate projects Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines Manage and coordinate subcontractors and stakeholders Mentor and manage other staff when required Represent the company in a professional and respectful manner in everything you do Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner and ask if unsure Supporting the Project Management team with all administration related tasks Be available for on-call escalations to manage outages and maintenance as required 24/7 – one week every month roster Work under limited supervision Any other tasks as requested Demonstrate: Exceptional organisational skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written A drive to succeed Forward thinking Ability to move quickly at Client's request An engaging manor with the ability to build rapport with clients, key stakeholders, statutory authorities and Sound Dark Fibre Technical knowledge Experience:· Microsoft Suite skills· 5 Years' experience in Telecommunications construction
