We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Perth Energy team with demonstrated experience in areas such as design of fuel facilities and terminals (or similar), risk management, process design, and client presentation, dangerous goods/hazardous chemicals to work as part of a national Energy team.

What does the role involve? Support the delivery of energy, fuel & dangerous goods projects related to design, compliance, and safety. Facilitate project risk workshops and the development of engineering solutions to workshop outcomes. Site-based inspections, engineering, and commission services to internal and external projects. Provide detailed advice in relation to engineering design and related standards. Take a lead role on delivery of complex projects across various industries. Lead a team of engineers to deliver projects including complete design for construction, risk assessments, and compliance advice. Who are we looking for? Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree or equivalent, recognised by Engineers Australia. Demonstrated experience in Engineering and Project Management within an engineering consultancy. Experience in process design engineering, P&ID and controls within fuel farm, wastewater, petrochemical, pharmaceutical or related industry. Experience with dangerous goods, hazardous chemicals, risk and compliance consulting. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage a team of engineers and graduates and represent ACOR with the client. Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional consulting environment.
