PIC are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team on an exciting site-base project - Ability to mobilise to site immediately. This position is on an 11:3 Roster, Drive in and out to Broomehill, WA.
This opportunity involves: Work together with Project Manager to:
Control all contract drawings, data and specifications. Prepare, maintain, update and distribute a project schedule for each contract allocated. Act as main point of contact between company and client on each contract allocated. Place subcontractor and supplier orders in accordance with the purchasing authority matrix, facilitating timely delivery of services to conform with project schedule. Negotiate technical queries, engineering problems, deliveries, contract variations, additions and deletions to original contract, final accounts and claims with the client. Prepare and maintain relevant documentation. Prepare and submit claims for variations to contract, monthly progress payment claims and final payment claims to client. The successful applicant will have: Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical desirable 3+ years' relevant experience Strong understanding of quality assurance High level of problem-solving ability Strong numeracy/ cost forecasting skills and financial understanding Please apply directly via Seek or send through your application to our Recruitment team at Shortlisting for this role will commence immediately and we reserve the right to close the advertisement early.
