Effectively coordinate and manage own projects from concept to completion 2 to 5 years engineering experience required, strong communication skills Based in Young, NSW.
Relocation assistance on offer The client and you:    Australian leader within their industry, they design and build large industrial engineering equipment and are looking to add a Project Engineer to their team.
Those with experience in either complexed Material, Bulk handling or heavy lifting equipment will be favored.
Attend site visits and evaluate customer plans with senior management.
Strong mix of mechanical and structural work.
Ensure work and projects comply with QA and AS standards.
Ensure designs meet client's specs, also produce additional 2D and 3D designs as and when required, assisting draftspersons.
Daily, your role will involve: Design & project ownership Lead and drive your allocated project from a technical standpoint Help assist and improve mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on each project Work on structural improvements, frames, to walkways Develop from initial concept through to completion 3D CAD models Visit sites to scope out work and liaise with clients and external stakeholders VE/VE Engineering Prepare quotes for your assigned clients Manage project resources Subcontractors and supplier pre-qualification Internal stakeholder liaison Plan to make ensure project work is completed within time and budgets Work closely with other engineering departments to ensure projects are completed within allocated time and budgets Participate in Design, Manufacturing and Assembly review meetings Present to board members abroad Ensure all designs meet relevant AS standards Manage BOMs   To be a successful fit for this full-time/permanent role, you will have: A Degree or TAFE in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering 5 years' experience within medium to heavy engineering industry Experience managing small teams Excellent communication skills Sound knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Inventor Strong time management and problem-solving skills The successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary + Super.

This includes being mentored by senior leaders and taking on larger projects overtime.
Remuneration will increase to reflect responsibility.
