Job description:
CGC Recruitment have partnered with a long-standing client Nationally who are at the forefront of the infrastructure boom in QLD and deliver major projects across a number of sectors including Roads, Rail, Defence, and Renewable Energies.
They are currently delivering a $500ml Government Funding Transport Infrastructure project and have identified a need for a Project Engineer to look after the Civil scope of the project.

As Project Engineer, you will report to the PM on-site and your responsibilities will include:
Ordering of materials Working directly with the design consultant Day-to-day management of all operations Day-to-day cost tracking Submission of payment claims Organization of all plant and machinery You will be working in a small team overseeing a scope of works including:
Civil Drainage Minor earthworks External works Road resurfacing Noise walls Selection Criteria:
- 5 years post-graduate experience
- Civil Engineering degree
- Tier 1 Contracting experience is preferred
- Ability to mentor Junior Engineers
- Career-minded and driven
The role is a permanent position with the project running until 2026 and is working for a contractor that has an established pipeline of work in the South East of QLD.
