Foundation Recruitment is seeking a competent and proven Civil Project Engineer who can demonstrate capability across varied civil engineering disciplines, ideally within a government and defence sector delivery environment.
To date, our client's success has incorporated design and construct delivery models such as "Managing Contractor" engagements, and we are seeking candidates who have comparable experience.
The focus will see you responsible for the successful completion of the project's technical requirements within budget, time, WHS, and quality requirements, including appropriate site supervision, administration, and reporting.
With a focus on managing critical project packages on major defence base upgrades, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skill sets at a competent level with a Tier 1 or 2 principal contractor to be considered:
Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status.Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.To be successful in this role, you will need:
