The role: As a Project Engineer, you will coordinate and assist with overseeing key delivery of infrastructure projects across Newcastle and wider NSW. Our HQ is in Newcastle, and so we invite candidates who are interested in relocating to apply - we are able to offer a full relocation package for anyone within Australia who might want to move to a sunnier part of the world. Our projects can be quite regional in nature and will require DIDO - LAFHA and relevant allowances will be offered in these situations.
Your impact: Your site presence will enable our teams to work cohesively and ensure the smooth delivery of key projects.
Your every day: Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs and specifications. Participating in monthly financial reviews and providing cost forecasts against budgets to understand cost to complete. Leading and supporting a strong safety culture. Managing the construction program and implementing mitigating measures to keep the program on track. Demonstrating financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions. Who are you? Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 5+ years relevant civil construction experience. Have a sound understanding of typical construction specifications used in the Australian construction industry. Excellent stakeholder management experience. Drivers license and own transport.
