The ProjectThe project is in the Defence sector on sites located in regional Western Australia. The overall project is more than 2 years in duration, involving significant construction upgrades to airfield asphalt pavements and related infrastructure assets.
Your OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Project Engineer - Asphalt with airfield pavements, asphalt contracting and civil construction background, to join our multi-disciplinary project team. The role is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven and ambitious professional to enable the delivery of a major business initiative within a complex project.
Our Minimum Requirements for this Role Are:Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, specifically involving asphalt contracting, roads and pavement construction.Tertiary qualification in engineering.Proven commitment to promoting safety, quality and environmental compliance.Collaborative team attitude with frontline operational coordination experience.Demonstrated ability in developing strong relationships with subcontractor and supplier partners.High level understanding of resourcing, technical, scheduling and contract management to achieve and exceed safety, quality, time and cost objectives.Extensive experience in site-based construction roles, client interface and project management systems.Experience with Defence processes and project delivery will be highly regarded.Able to meet Department of Defence security clearance requirements (DCAC).BenefitsWe are always looking for ways to make CPB Contractors a more rewarding place to work and offer a unique set of benefits, including:
