CGC Recruitment are working with a National Tier 2 Contractor/Builder who primarily focuses on Building and Civil Infrastructure upgrade within the Rail corridor. They are growing rapidly in SE QLD and have recently secured x3 Infrastructure Upgrades for key Government clients. Targeting projects up from $5-300ml, they have identified a need for a Project Engineer to join the business and work on a $150ml Transport Infrastructure Upgrade.Reporting to a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:Resource planningDeveloping construction methodologiesAdministering contractsManaging subcontractorsManaging project riskIn addition, you will also be expected to manage Site Engineers and Graduates as a key part of the role.Scope Includes:Civil Structures - (Concrete works, Piling Pad, Piling, Capping Beam, Tower Crane Erection, Bulk Excavation, Stress Anchors and Rock Anchors)Fit Out - (Blockwork, Services Fire/Water/HVAC, Waterproofing etc)Rail - (Track, CSR Routes, Overhead lines etc)The project is a recently awarded $150ml+ Transport Infrastructure Upgrade on Brisbane's South side and will offer an opportunity for a young Engineer to gain exposure to a landmark project changing the landscape of Travel in SE QLD.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:5 years post-graduate experienceProven delivery background with a Tier 1/2 ContractorPrevious Rail or Building experienceAbility to mentor younger EngineersMethodical in planning and preparationFor more information, please call Rory on 0428 026 703 for a confidential chat or email ******.
