About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Director to lead a transformative journey in the Apprenticeship and Traineeship sector. As a key member of the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions, you will drive the development and implementation of innovative regulatory solutions that enhance safety and quality outcomes for apprentices and trainees across Victoria.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in regulatory policy and legislative reform, with expertise in developing modern, outcome-based regulatory frameworks that align with government priorities. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to implement the recommendations from the Apprenticeship Taskforce's Final Report, shaping the experiences of apprentices and trainees who are crucial to Victoria's industries of the future.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the design and delivery of the Apprenticeships Regulatory Reform program of work, including policy design and legislative instructions.Engage strategically with key stakeholders across government, industry, and the training sector.Provide high-level advice to Cabinet, Ministers, and senior executives.Prepare documentation, including program/project management plans, schedules, and resource plans.About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
