About the Company I'm representing an experienced and reputable asset owner in their search for a Project Director.
About the Role I'm seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee the delivery of a $1bn+ wind farm. You will have expertise in delivering large power/infrastructure projects, ($1bn+, oil & gas, infrastructure etc) with renewable energy experience not required. Ideally, you will have successfully delivered these projects from both owners and contractors side, from start to finish. There will be 12-24 months in the corporate office before heading to site, and then being based there whenever is required. You will have an excellent commercial acumen and be well versed across complex civil components. It is required ASAP.
Responsibilities Plan the construction delivery for a huge wind farm project Manage the contractor and OEM appointments Ensure the team is set up correctly for successful delivery Effectively manage contractors Drive the project towards successful completion within specified timelines Provide strong leadership to the project team Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and internal teams Prepare regular progress reports, financial statements, and other project documentation for internal and external stakeholders Requirements Tertiary qualification Multi-years experience in delivering large scale infrastructure / oil & gas projects (ideally $1bn+) from both owners and contractors side Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing contracts, budgets, and financial aspects of projects Well versed across complex civil projects Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams Benefits Excellent salary: $400-500k+ Deliver an iconic wind farm project from the start Work for a leading asset owner Proven expertise to support delivery How to Apply If you are interested and believe you have the required experience, please apply now with your updated CV and cover letter to Nathan Shackcloth.
