Our client is a tier 2 construction company in Sydney. They are seeking a Project Director to manage a high-performing team of Project Managers to deliver high-end mixed-use projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
Mentor and develop junior project managers.
Prepare and organise pre-commencement of projects on site, including external and internal inductions.
Prepare and issue detailed site dilapidation reports before commencement on site.
Set, prepare, and run weekly PCG meetings with clients, prepare and issue PCG meeting minutes.
Organise and manage the internal site team for works, project sites, and tasks.
Manage and track project budgets.
Attend pre-construction meetings as required.
Liaise with the designer about changes required on-site or RFI required on plans or documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor of Construction Management or Engineering.
Ideally, the candidate should have 8+ years of experience in mixed-use construction.
Experience with projects exceeding $70M.
The candidate should show exceptional problem-solving skills while keeping people on side and motivated.
The candidate should be experienced in running a team of PMs and have the ability to teach and mentor the team.
