Project Director

Job Summary:
The Project Director will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations. This role will oversee the construction of a high rise mixed use building valued over $100M.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. Ensure adherence to plans throughout the project.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Foster strong relationships and ensure clear communication.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and financial summaries.
Budget Management: Monitor project finances, ensuring projects remain within budget and financial targets are met.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Qualifications:
Experience working on projects valued at $100M+ with a tier 1/2 builder desirable.
Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
