The role The Project Director will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Perth Accommodation Consolidation Project, developing, influencing and maintaining strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and deliverables.
The project will consolidate the Department's metropolitan offices into a single premises, while transitioning approximately 1,900 employees to an activity-based working model.
This role oversees the project lifecycle, from strategic planning, procurement, and construction to change management, relocation and decommissioning of premises, ensuring business continuity and alignment with the Department's Strategic Asset Plan and Workplace Strategy.

You will provide expert guidance and advice to the Project Sponsor and Change Sponsor in collaboration with the Strategic Change Manager; and provide clear leadership and direction to the Project Management team, managing workloads to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Demonstrated project management skills, with ability to develop, manage and deliver large, complex programs including the resources and budget required to deliver agreed outcomes.
High level stakeholder engagement, relationship development and negotiation skills in the context of a change management program, development and delivery.
Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, with proven ability in project/program design development and implementation.
