Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland government department to recruit a Project Director on a contract until June 2025, based at Brisbane CBD.
As the Project Director, you will be responsible for the delivery of an enterprise Data Services Program. This program is focused on the delivery of a new cloud-based data platform which will uplift the organisation's data capabilities and services.
In this role you will:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, to deliver high quality solutions.
Manage within scope, budget, and deliver high quality solutions on time.
Accurately determine, assign, track and manage project tasks, activities, and documentation in line with internal standards.
Develop and communicate realistic plans for the delivery of the assigned projects.
Manage resource capacity planning and allocations.
Create and/or support the development of project business cases.
Ensure all projects are successfully planned, monitored, documented, tracked, reported, integrated, and implemented.
Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning, ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated effectively.
You will have:
Previous experience leading the delivery of enterprise data programs within a complex environment.
High quality project management skills with an aptitude to be hands-on with project management activities across the delivery stream.
Strong stakeholder management experience with previous experience managing the relationships with executive stakeholders and critical vendors.
Pragmatic and personable leadership skills with the ability to lead a multi-disciplined delivery team.
Previous experience within a financial services organization will be highly regarded.
