Our client is seeking a highly competent and experienced Project Director for their Project Planning Infrastructure Services Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership in corporate governance and accountability, developing and implementing communication strategies for stakeholders, and overseeing a multidisciplinary team.

This is a contract position until beginning of November 2025. What you'll do:

Provide leadership in corporate governance and accountability through effective development and implementation of frameworks and systems.Develop and implement communication strategies for stakeholders in relation to infrastructure services and programs.Provide oversight and quality assurance of documentation produced by the Project Planning team.Ensure appropriate levels of consultation and governance over any changes proposed and implemented.Support a multidisciplinary team through any change management required to enhance allocative models, process, tools and capability.Oversee budget and financial management accountabilities.What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Project Director role brings a wealth of experience in leading corporate governance initiatives within large organisations. Your understanding of budgeting and financial management within large-scale projects or departments will be crucial in this role.
Proven experience in leading corporate governance and accountability initiatives within large organisations.Strong ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies for diverse stakeholder groups.Experience in providing oversight and quality assurance on project planning documentation.Demonstrated ability to manage change effectively within multidisciplinary teams.Solid understanding of budgeting and financial management within large-scale projects or departments.Qualifications or industry experience in infrastructure planning or strategic policy would be highly regarded.What sets this department apart: Our client is a leading State Government Department committed to creating a stronger, fairer Queensland through education.
