The Role: As the Project Director, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the successful delivery of a large-scale BESS project, guiding it from late-stage development through to completion. This is a crucial role that will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Location: Sydney or Brisbane - With travel to site required
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the project lifecycle from late-stage development through delivery. Lead the project team, ensuring seamless coordination between departments. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet key milestones. Liaise with external stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Mitigate project risks and drive continuous improvement. About You: Proven experience in project management within the renewable energy sector, ideally with a focus on major project delivery in renewables, power or similar. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large, multidisciplinary teams. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Comprehensive knowledge of project delivery, contract negotiation, and risk management. Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, or a related discipline are highly desirable.
