Vestas have released an exciting new position and are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Developer to join our innovative team working on projects in NSW.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 3 years or more of experience in project development to drive wind energy projects from origination through to financial close.The Project Development Manager will be a key part of the Vestas Australian Development team and will work across multiple early, middle and late stage wind development projects.The role will ideally be located in Melbourne or Sydney, and will involve travel to project sites across Australia.As the successful candidate you will play a key role in progressing development of projects from feasibility to financial close, and will require a blend of technical, commercial, financial, environmental, and legal acumen, as well as an appreciation of and dedication to landowner relationships and community engagement.The purpose of the role is to assist with development activities across land agreements, environmental permitting, grid connection, community engagement, financial modelling, offtake, funding.
