Zenith Energy is Australia's leading Independent Power Producer (IPP), with a significant presence in Western Australia and the Northern Territory. We manage over 700 MW of contracted generation capacity, focusing on off-grid and hybrid power solutions, with a growing focus on innovative grid-connected assets through its Zenith Connected Energy division.
Zenith is currently searching for a Project Development Manager (PDM) to join the Connected Energy Team. The Project Development Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the planning, development, and execution of projects.
Perth based role, 5/2 roster
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the development of the scope of works for project opportunities.
Create business cases and models for justification and project approvals.
Conduct feasibility studies assessing project viability.
Develop financial forecasts and project models.
Key point of contact for stakeholders (Clients, Contractors, & Govt. Agencies).
Lead, direct and manage cross-functional teams.
Identify potential suppliers for Zenith's Project Development Opportunity.
Support the Commercial Manager and Senior Manager Growth project deed negotiations and satisfying Conditions Precedent arising from Project Deeds.
Coordinate the completion of the retail distribution license applications with the ERA.
Ensure the project meets required standards of quality through ongoing evaluation.
Contribute to monthly board reports.
Preparation of Investment Cases and Business Proposals.
Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for future project development.
Assist in identifying new project opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives.
About You
5+ years in grid connected project development.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
A proven track record in identifying potential suppliers for Zenith's Project Development.
Experience in dealing with the Australian Energy Market.
BA/BSc in Engineering, Finance, Law, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
WA Driver's License.
National Police Clearance.
Medical Clearance.
