We're Green Wind Renewables – a WA based renewable energy developer focused on developing large-scale wind energy projects to accelerate WA's transition to net zero emissions.
We're developing a portfolio of large-scale onshore wind farms totalling up to 2.4GW in WA, connected to the South-West Interconnected System (SWIS).
About the Opportunity
You'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative renewable energy development team, supporting the development of large-scale wind energy projects in Western Australia's South-West Interconnected System.
We're a growing team and looking to bring in the best and the brightest people to help us develop and deliver these ambitious renewable energy projects for the State and its large electricity consumers.
That's where you come in.
In the role you'll be responsible for:
Supporting the Development Manager with the project management of land, environmental, permitting, stakeholder management, resource assessment, initial engineering and grid connection activities of wind energy projects up to the point of financial close.
Supporting activities to achieve development approval and permits including management of third-party environment/planning advisers prior to financial close.
Leading or supporting the development of project technical documentation and technical schedules for project execution and operations & maintenance.
Leading or supporting project reporting and managing and maintaining development schedules.
About You
Green Wind Renewables is seeking an energetic and passionate team player with a can-do attitude to join our expanding team.
We're seeking someone who is results-driven and proactive in their approach.
While prior experience in the energy sector isn't mandatory, if you possess the following skills, qualifications, and experience, we're keen to hear from you:
Demonstrated proficiency in project management (3 years or more) of large-scale infrastructure projects, encompassing aspects such as land management, environmental considerations, permitting, stakeholder engagement, engineering, and grid connection.
Exceptional communication skills to develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including local communities, landowners, and Traditional Owner groups.
A degree or equivalent in fields like environmental studies, engineering, urban planning, sciences, or business-related disciplines is advantageous, though not essential.
Your main workplace will be situated in our central Perth CBD office.
