Our opportunity As Project Design Manager at Prince & Parade and the next tower at Yarra's Edge you will be responsible for facilitating effective design delivery across all design disciplines to get the best outcomes for the project, and to maximise value and minimise risk.
Your responsibilities will include and are not limited to: Managing consultant tendering process including, tender selection, due diligence, recommendations, manage an expression of interest (Eo I) and Request for Proposal (Rf P) process.
Developing detailed scope of services (So S), contract documents (including DE document in conjunction with the DE Manager) for inclusion in the tender and for contact execution.
Ensuring all stakeholders are being liaised with regarding preparation of the So S including special requirements from Mirvac Development and design responsibilities from Mirvac Construction of the trade sub-contractors.
Manage contract negotiations with including legal, commercial and insurance ensuring the input from legal, development and insurance teams.
Ensure each project has a viable and current execution plan to deliver the design of the Ensure the full appraisal of design options and facilitate proactive identification of value-add design and innovation in collaboration with the full project team while maintaining the design intent and fostering an environment for design excellence.
Undertake regular project reviews with the project team of design outputs, documentation, buildability, drawings and prototypes.
Drive effective, efficient and cohesive communication with the design team to achieve design outcomes and timely decision making.
Ensure everyone understands the project's objectives and works towards their achievement as a priority.
Your point of difference You will be professionally qualified and have experience at management level in projects under various delivery models and varying client types; including management of multidisciplinary projects and teams.
You will have excellent stakeholder management skills including being agile and flexible in approach and thinking.
In addition, have excellent people leadership qualities.
You will have a strong capability to write technical reports, briefs and prepare visual presentations.
