Key Highlights: 1 Year contract (Renewable)Up to AUD13,000 + bonus + comprehensive benefits package About the Role Our client, a well-established consulting firm with a strong presence in the APAC region, is seeking an experienced Insurance Project Delivery Manager to lead high-impact technology projects in the insurance sector.

The role is based in Sydney, and the successful candidate will work on transformative projects, ensuring effective delivery from inception through to completion, while aligning with client needs and strategic goals.
Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Oversee end-to-end delivery of large-scale insurance projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and quality execution. Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations, communications, and overall client satisfaction. Solution Implementation: Collaborate closely with technology consulting teams and system integrators to design and implement tailored solutions. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with both internal teams and third-party vendors, ensuring seamless integration and alignment across project phases. Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks early on, develop mitigation strategies, and manage issues to avoid delays or scope changes. Resource & Budget Management: Effectively allocate resources, monitor budgets, and report progress to both clients and senior management. Requirements: Experience in Insurance: Min 8-10 years project management experience, with minimum of 4 years in project delivery roles within the insurance industry, ideally in a mix of in-house and vendor environments.Consulting/Integration Background: Proven experience with a technology consulting firm or systems integrator, with a strong understanding of IT transformation projects.Technical Acumen: Familiarity with insurance technology stacks and digital transformation initiatives within insurance, such as policy administration, claims processing, or underwriting.Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (JIRA, MS Project).Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills with the ability to manage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to address challenges proactively and develop practical solutions that ensure project continuity and success.
