Project ManagerLocal Peoples is seeking enthusiastic and talented Senior/Project Manager in QLD to join our team as embedded members with our prestigious Government client.Project Managers will oversee project goals, timelines, and quality, ensuring high standards and consistent delivery. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will manage project design, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. You will also engage with key stakeholders across government levels, drive innovation, and support the agency's strategic direction. This role may include on-call support for critical production issues.Join us and play a crucial role in exciting projects directly alongside government clients.Roles & Responsibilities:Oversee and execute projects with potential agency-wide impact.Create, implement, and assess project plans and timelines following the agency's framework and account for project interdependencies.Work closely with team members and engage with both internal and external stakeholders.Supervise project design, governance, and operational integration.Ensure project deliverables and milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget.Report on project objectives and outcomes to executives, manage financial budgets, and oversee contracts, procurement, resources, and expenditures.Identify, evaluate, manage, escalate, and monitor project risks, issues, and benefits, including developing strategies for risk mitigation.Essential Skills & Experience:Experience and expertise in delivering infrastructure projects.Capability to perform effectively under pressure with tight deadlines.Proven success in leading technical teams and managing cross-disciplinary programs from project initiation to product delivery.Ability to enhance the agency's operations by improving project management systems, processes, and tools.Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a cross-functional team.Experience in tracking complex ICT projects and resolving blocking issues.Familiarity with AGILE methodology and project tracking techniques.Competence in producing talking points, project documentation, and conducting independent research and issue resolution as needed.Residency & Clearance:Hold a current Baseline clearance or be able to obtain one.Australian Citizen.This role is open to Brisbane based applicants.Who are Local Peoples?Local Peoples is a strategic research and design studio based in Melbourne and Canberra.
