Fitzroy River Water are looking for a motivated Project Delivery Engineer to support and lead our project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
As a Project Delivery Engineer in the water and wastewater sector, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end delivery of water infrastructure projects.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, design engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure successful outcomes.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Proven track record of managing the full project lifecycle, from design through to completion.
Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and with clients.

Application Criteria
Tertiary qualifications (bachelor's degree or higher) in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) and substantial experience in the delivery of water and wastewater projects.
Demonstrated experience undertaking all aspects of Project Management of water and wastewater projects from inception to handover.
Substantial knowledge and experience in the preparation of tender documentation, construction contracts and procurement processes.
Understanding of relevant guidelines, standards, and legislation appropriate to the Water Industry.
