The OpportunityWe have an opportunity for an articulated and motivated individual to coordinate the procurement and delivery of capital projects for all water supply, sewerage and effluent reuse assets at all points of the project cycle from detailed planning to delivery and commissioning, including representing BVSC in the management of consultants and contractors.
As Project & Delivery Coordinator, you will prepare briefs and tender documentation calling for preliminary design, concept design, detailed design, or construction services.
You will understand and communicate required scope of projects and necessary tasks and activities to deliver projects as well as check works as executed drawings and update assets registers.
We are seeking an individual who holds Degree qualifications in a relevant engineering, business or project/construction management discipline appropriate to the position and has well-developed skills in the interpretation of detailed engineering plans, specifications and quality systems.
You will have the following skills and experience:
Experience delivering works across the project cycle in the context of water supply and sewerage systems (e.g., tasks required for a safe and compliant concept design in NSW).Sound understanding of contract management principles including risk management, WHS and EEO.
Ability to manage relationships with contractors and professional consultants in order to achieve results.High level written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability in the use of Microsoft Office software, MS Project project planning software and spatial information software.This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $125,312.17 gross per annum, comprising of:
$248.55 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)Additional benefits for this position include:
