We are seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Controller to join our team.
This critical role involves overseeing project control functions, including cost management, risk evaluation, and performance monitoring across multiple large-scale infrastructure projects, with a preference for hydropower projects.
You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards by implementing robust project control processes, tools, and methodologies.
Benefits Competitive salary package commensurate with experience.Opportunities to work on challenging, high-profile projects.Professional development and career growth opportunities.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Key Responsibilities Project Cost Management: Develop and oversee project cost control systems, track budget performance, manage actual and forecast costs, and ensure adherence to approved budgets.Financial Policies & Internal Controls: Ensure the effective implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal control measures across projects.Earned Value Management (EVM): Implement EVM and other performance measurement systems to monitor progress and identify variances.Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Prepare detailed project performance reports, including schedule, budget, and milestone tracking.Process Improvement: Continuously improve project control processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on schedule and costs.Change Request Management: Evaluate and manage project change requests, ensuring the assessment of schedule, cost, and resource impacts."What If" Analysis & EoT Claims: Support the preparation and management of scenario analysis, Extension of Time (EoT) claims, and variations.Qualification & Experience A recognised degree in Construction, Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects (hydropower experience is advantageous).In-depth knowledge of all project management disciplines and financial management methodologies.Proven track record of implementing and managing cost control systems and risk management processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing cross-functional teams.Proficiency in project management tools and systems, as well as Earned Value Management practices.About CompanyATB Riva Calzoni is an industrial organisation headquartered in Italy that operates in more than 100 countries and employs about 1,500 people.
