Australian governments are now committed to a net zero economy for Australia by 2050 and our vision is to enable this.Victorian Network Services and Delivery is a division within AEMO's System Design Department with the key objective to effectively deliver Victorian major transmission projects and other electricity transmission augmentations in the long-term interests of consumers.This role is within the Victoria to New South Wales Interconnector West (VNI West) team, responsible for undertaking early works for the $1.7 billion VNI West transmission line project. These early works include engineering design, environment and planning approvals, land access, and stakeholder and community relations.About the roleReporting to the Manager, VNI West, this role will work closely with the VNI West Project Director, VNI West Project Manager, AEMO's Manager Safety, Health and Wellbeing, and other members of the VNI West team to coordinate safety compliance and other administrative aspects of the VNI West project.The role provides diary and email support to the Project Director and requires proactive coordination and assistance for the team's activities, which include delivery of a major infrastructure project.
