Victorian Network Services and Delivery is a division within AEMO's System Design Department with the key objective to  effectively delivery Victorian major transmission projects and other electricity transmission augmentations in the long-term  interests of consumers.
This role is within the Victoria to New South Wales Interconnector West (VNI West) team, the VNI West team is responsible for  undertaking early works for the $1.7 billion VNI West transmission line project.
These early works include engineering design of  the VNI West, environment and planning approvals, land access and stakeholder and community relations.
The VNI West transmission line is a significant component of the National Electricity Market's transition to a green energy  future.
VNI West will provide stronger transmission links from the Snowy 2.0 pumped hydro project to Victoria and facilitate the  deployment of more green energy into Victoria the National Electricity Market.
About the role Reporting to the Manager, VNI West this role will work closely with the VNI West Project Director, VNI West Project Manager, AEMO's Manager Safety, Health and  Wellbeing, other members of the VNI West team and VNI West consultants to co-ordinate safety compliance and other administrative aspects of the VNI West project to help deliver AEMO's green energy transition goals.
The role provides diary and email support to the Project Director and administrative support to the team and requires the proactive coordination and assistance for the team's activities which include delivery of a major infrastructure project.
The role will work within in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, assisting on a large variety of tasks.
The role is responsible for building strong relationships with other team members, taking initiative to foster collaboration and complete tasks within tight timeframes and changing priorities.
It also requires liaising and engaging with influence with internal and external stakeholders at an executive level.
You should be able to think on your feet, conduct tasks with minimal supervision, have excellent time management skills, and have a proactive approach to fulfilling tasks within deadlines.
You are able to swiftly familiarise yourself with key internal and external stakeholders and with your genuine interest in comprehending project details and their broader context you are adept at forging networks and remaining calm amidst change, being able to adjust and pivot when needed.
What you will be doing Diary and email support to the Project Director, including calendar coordination, mailbox screening, and travel arrangements.
Organise team events, regional visits including fulfillment of safety requirements, collaborate with the System Design administration team.
Handle departmental administrative tasks, manage consultant agreements.
Coordinate team meetings, and manage project and safety documents including tracking of project fieldwork ensuring appropriate safety documentation has been submitted.
Produce team and divisional reports and create presentation materials for Steering Committees and Boards.
This position will transfer to VicGrid in 12 months and be part of a growing infrastructure development and delivery organisation, with a pipeline of work that extends beyond 2050.

What you will bring to the role Education Relevant administrative qualifications or experience Experience and Knowledge Solid previous experience working in projects or similar environment in a coordination role.
Sound knowledge and experience in administration tools, processes and systems.
Demonstrated experience supporting stakeholders holding positions at an executive level.
Interpersonal, influencing, problem solving skills.
Strong in Ms Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience in co-ordinating the preparation of formal reports for audiences at all management levels (internal and external).
