If this sounds like you, join our team to help make a difference. The Role: The vision of the Communicate Study Partnership is to ensure more First Nations peoples receive culturally safe healthcare.
A suite of activities is being implemented at participating hospitals including: an intercultural communication and cultural safety program, based on an innovative, multi-award-winning podcast developed by our team; clinical championing; new employment and integration models for interpreters; and mentoring and training for First Nations language interpreters.
About you: A Project Coordinator is required to coordinate and implement Communicate Study Partnership activities across Royal Darwin Hospital, Katherine Hospital, and Gove District Hospital.
This position will be responsible for managing grant contracts, budgeting, and human resource processes.
The Project Coordinator will work with the study team to support the rollout of existing projects and contribute to the development and execution of new ventures.
The Project Coordinator will contribute to sustainability planning for the suite of study activities, including contributing to new grant applications, ensuring accordance with the strategic goals of the study, Menzies and its collaborative partners.
You also have:
Tertiary qualifications with significant experience in a relevant field (e.g.
business, administration, project management) and/or an equivalent combination of extensive management experience and/or education and training. Demonstrated experience in high-level financial management skills, including drafting and updating budgets, monitoring expenses, reviewing financial reports, communicating results, and making appropriate adjustments to support project implementation. Demonstrated ability to work independently to deliver project outcomes, to complete required reports, and to be resourceful and to use initiative in the delivery of project objectives.
