Position Overview The office-based Project Coordinator is responsible for engaging internal technicians and external contractors, scheduling, managing restoration projects, and budgets to ensure the timely delivery of projects to our clients. The role works closely with estimators/supervisors, technicians, suppliers, sub-contractors, and the finance team, reporting to a Team Leader and restoration manager.
Key Responsibilities: Consistent and accurate administration and project coordination of small-medium restoration projects.Organisation and scheduling of appropriate trades, technicians, and estimators.Cost management through the claim life, handling of trade invoices.Strong focus on KPIs.Collating photos and other documents for submitting reports and quotations.Liaising with stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and regular updates.Desired Skills: Experience in contents and restoration works or insurance building repair coordination.Thorough understanding of the restoration and/or building repair process, critical inspection points, and WHS requirements.Track record of establishing and maintaining long-term relationships/accounts.Exceptional organisational and time management skills.Proactive and outcome-focused.Ability to act independently and multi-task.High attention to detail with excellent communication skills.Due to our business being mostly weather-related and linked to major insurable events, overtime is occasionally required during these event times to assist in the increased workloads.
