About the Role
This residential homes builder specializes in residential homes, renovations, and granny flats and is a well-known name across the Central Coast & Hunter region. They are now expanding the business into the ACT and looking for a Project Coordinator on a full-time basis. Your working week will include 1-2 Saturdays a month with an RDO that week to accommodate workflow. Part-time option also available (3-4 days P/W). Known for their quality and affordability, they are currently building upwards of around 250+ new projects a year. Their Canberra showroom is in need of a construction support specialist who can oversee all processes following the initial sales process through to handover, with this varied role seeing you work across pre-construction, colour selections, construction support during the build, and also jumping back in at the back-end to monitor the 90-day warranty period following construction handover.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and maintain project files from pre-site to settlementContract variationsLiaise with estimating and drafting teamsObtain permit applications and developer approvalsProvide administrative support to the site teamsCoordinate the connection of all utilitiesWHS&E administration and compliance checksPrepare site files complete with all current project documentationPrepare Occupation Certificates and handover packsFollowing construction handover at the end of the build, taking back client files to monitor the initial 90-day warranty & defect period, scheduling and maintaining any due worksAdhoc administration dutiesAbout YouExperience within the residential construction sector in a similar role is essentialThe ability to multi-task and prioritize a changing workloadStrong IT skills including MS Office suite and the ability to grasp new systems with easeStrong English skills both written & verbalRemuneration & BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a remuneration package upwards of up to $90k + superannuation.
