This position is located in their busy Sydney office for an initial 6-month non-ongoing contract – with an aim to transition to permanency.
About the Position The Project Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations of the project management team, assisting in planning, executing, and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
This role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and administrative skills to ensure project success.
Duties Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and schedules.
Assist with project administrative tasks as required.
Liaise between the project manager and all stakeholders.
Collect and maintain project data, reports, and documentation.
Assist with project meetings and follow up on action items.
Identify risks, issues, or bottlenecks and help develop solutions.
Assist with monitoring budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support project execution.
Conduct project-related research and analysis as required.
Requirements/Skills Must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander 1-5 years of experience in a project management/coordinator role Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies Desirable to possess knowledge of project management tools, e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello (with JIRA being their primary tool).
