Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
The WSLHD Redevelopment Project Coordinator will assume a coordination and supporting role. They will coordinate, develop, and manage procedures and processes to successfully implement the administration and strategy components of one or multiple major Capital Works Projects currently underway across WSLHD, including the Westmead Hospital Redevelopment, Cumberland Hospital Mental Health Services relocation and Rouse Hill Hospital Development.

The Project Coordinator will use initiative, flexibility and self-direction to manage the day-to-day requirements with a high degree of competency and enthusiasm. The role will work closely with the Redevelopment Lead, Health Infrastructure, Project Consultants and user group participants.

Selection Criteria: Experience in project management. Experience in a complex health environment with clinical experience / sound understanding of clinical service delivery and models of care. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external key stakeholders, project groups and senior level management. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative. Demonstrated performance in implementing change through application of change management principles including experience in risk identification, assessment and mitigation. Understanding of planning, decanting and commissioning activities and time constraints involved. Valid NSW Drivers Licence and be willing to use it for work purposes. Need more information?
