Project Coordinator

MFE is an adaptive and progressive business, specializing in site maintenance, fabrication and project management, predominately within the mining and energy sector.
We are seeking to recruit the position of Project Coordinator.
This position will be based in Chinchilla or Toowoomba with some possible travel to client work sites when required.
This diverse role will support the MFE site projects teams in the preparation and planning of jobs including detailed scope reviews, procurement of parts and services, labour and project planning.
THE OPPORTUNITY To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to be able to draw upon experience in the construction/civil industry, along with a high degree of competence regarding computers and technology.
A trade background, specifically the plumbing and construction, will be highly advantageous.
The successful candidate will be required to employ both of these skills in the execution of their daily tasks.
In addition, you will need fantastic relationship management skills to develop robust, trusting and long-term client relationships.
Your ability to deliver your detailed workings to clients, both internal and external, will be pivotal in building trust between client and contractor.
You will have an active involvement in the delivery of the businesses growth and return on investment KPI's, and opportunities to increase your training and education with potential to take on project management capabilities.
THE ROLE Analyze and interpret technical project scope and drawings/documents.Review scope of contract/purchase orders.Site inspections and measure ups.Ordering, tracking and receipt of materials.Organizing external services and subcontractors.Liaise with clients regarding estimations and tender submissions.Creation of job packs including safety and quality documents.ABOUT YOU Demonstrated experience in utilities Heavy Industry.Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of technical drawings.Strong organizational skills along with high attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated stakeholder relationship building capabilities.Intermediate to advanced skills in business software.Demonstrated experience in organization and the execution of project-related tasks.On offer will be an excellent remuneration package.
