Are you passionate about helping to drive the reconciliation journey within the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage? This exciting opportunity to join the Department for a three-year fixed-term contract has arisen based on the success of our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). We're looking for a Project Coordinator to support the Department's RAP Working Group in continuing to deliver our Innovate RAP and assist in the development of our future RAP.
In the role of Project Coordinator, you will work closely with the RAP Working Group Chair and implementation teams to roll-out this important program of work. You will build strong relationships working with relevant teams from across the Department, and with external stakeholders, to help deliver the RAP actions and undertake initiatives that continue to demonstrate the Department's commitment to reconciliation. You'll also be responsible for ensuring the RAP actions are delivered on time and that we meet our reporting obligations to the Corporate Executive and Reconciliation Australia.
Experience in project coordination is an essential part of this role as you will be required to provide leadership and contribute to the development and implementation of the frameworks required to support the successful delivery of our current RAP and the development of the future RAP. Your project coordination skills will also assist with the delivery and implementation of the Department's Multicultural Action Plan and Disability and Inclusion Action Plan.
