We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses.About the roleThis position supports the Project & Contract Manager and Senior Project Manager to coordinate VicFleet ZEV transition activities, contributing to the uptake of ZEVs in the government fleet. The occupant will coordinate the defect liability period for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure and other VicFleet ZEV transition project priorities. The role involves coordinating multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to government.About youTo be considered for the role, you must demonstrate:Effective teamwork, cooperating and providing high-quality work under pressure and to short deadlines.Experience in supporting the development and delivery management of multiple projects with attention to detail.Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with managers, colleagues, and stakeholders.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, and briefs.Key accountabilitiesSupport the Senior Project Manager with ZEV transition projects, including telematics pilot project and finalising the ZEV charging infrastructure defect and liability period.Identify and develop scope issues to deliver projects on time and on budget, obtaining approvals as required for scope, resources, and cost variations.Develop and implement strategies to influence stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment.Maintain constructive relationships with external service providers, contractors, building owners/managers, and other key stakeholders to achieve effective program delivery outcomes.Mandatory requirementsAppropriate tertiary qualification in a related discipline, and/or significant experience in a similar role.For specific responsibilities, please review the attached position description.This position is only open to applicants with relevant rights to work in Australia.How to applyApply before the advertised closing date 11:59pm on 24 November 2024.
