The Victorian Government is taking action to transition to net zero emissions by 2050, including initiatives to encourage the transition of the government fleet to zero emissions vehicles (ZEVs). This position presents an exciting opportunity to support the Project & Contract Manager and Senior Project Manager in coordinating VicFleet ZEV transition activities, contributing to the uptake of ZEVs in the government fleet to achieve the Government agenda for zero emissions.

About the role
This position supports the Project & Contract Manager and Senior Project Manager to coordinate VicFleet ZEV transition activities, contributing to the uptake of ZEVs in the government fleet. The occupant will coordinate the defect liability period for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure and other VicFleet ZEV transition project priorities. The role involves coordinating multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to government.
About you To be considered for the role, you must demonstrate:
Effective teamwork, cooperating and providing high-quality work under pressure and to short deadlines.Experience in supporting the development and delivery management of multiple projects with attention to detail.Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with managers, colleagues, and stakeholders.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, and briefs.Key accountabilities Support the Senior Project Manager with ZEV transition projects, including telematics pilot project and finalising the ZEV charging infrastructure defect and liability period.Identify and develop scope issues to deliver projects on time and on budget, obtaining approvals as required for scope, resources, and cost variations.Develop and implement strategies to influence stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment.Maintain constructive relationships with external service providers, contractors, building owners/managers, and other key stakeholders to achieve effective program delivery outcomes.Mandatory requirements Appropriate tertiary qualification in a related discipline, and/or significant experience in a similar role.For specific responsibilities, please review the attached position description.
