Project Coordinator

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our marketing and innovation team.
Reporting into the NPD Project Manager and Private Label.
The Project Coordinator is a facilitator of NPD commercialisation in support of delivering growth through renovation and innovation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the project management of branded and private label product development projects.
Responsible for managing private label projects including tenders.
Manage the project plan.
Steer the project team to identify an aligned approach to deliver on the critical path, identification of constraints, contingencies and risk mitigations to achieve project objectives.
Seek and identify issues and execute solutions to resolve commercialisation challenges in conjunction with NPD Steering Teams.
Oversee and coordinate functional participation within the project team and contributions towards the project plans on allocated projects.
Escalate & communicate threats to project launch plans as required to management & stakeholders (Line Manager, Gate Keepers, Project Champions & other department heads as required).
Ensure Stage & Gate processes are followed as per documented procedures by all project steering team members.
Communicate and seek approval on any deviation to process where required via Gatekeeper permission.
Contribute to product development process optimisation by conducting post-launch reviews for the purpose of continuous learning, contributing to best practice development, & ensuring key learnings are applied to future processes and projects.
Manage administrative reporting documentation associated with the management of own NPD projects.
Facilitate reporting to enable business wide oversight on current project scope, status (projected financials), timeline status of all projects.
You will have:
Minimum 3 years' experience in project management and new product development in food manufacturing.
Strong project management and process management skills.
Proven ability to lead, influence and work well at all levels of an organization and in a cross functional team environment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain operational and general product development issues to stakeholders without product development experience.
A comprehensive understanding of all phases of the product development lifecycle.
Strong communication (written, verbal), presentation and documentation skills.
Ability to manage conflict and drive resolution.
