Our dedicated workforce made up of employees and volunteers help contribute to our mission to provide the best possible support and services to all generations of veterans in Victoria.To find out more about the important work that we do, visit our website: www.rslvic.com.au.About the roleAs the Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in implementing change management and stakeholder engagement initiatives to deliver our services in the Geelong and Bellarine regions throughout the project lifecycle. You will coordinate outreach services and ensure the provision of support to veterans and their families. You will serve as the primary point of contact on the ground, driving the project's success and aiding in meeting our commitment to expanding our services footprint to provide more accessible services and programs for veterans and their families.This is a part-time fixed position based at the Geelong Hub.Key responsibilities:Collaborate with the Project Director to refine project objectives and deliverables.Identify potential risks and issues, proactively develop mitigation strategies, and ensure any disruptions and challenges are promptly escalated and resolved.Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and risks.Coordinate daily project tasks to ensure timely progress.Undertake effective stakeholder engagement by being the local point of contact on the ground for enquiries and information dissemination.Prepare regular reports and updates for the Project Director and relevant stakeholders.Support change management processes to provide consistent processes.Enhance resource availability and coordination by building and maintaining relationships with government services, ex-service organisations, community organisations and other service providers.Perform functions as directed and in line with authorities, capabilities, and skills to enhance the performance and productivity of RSL Victoria.About you (what we are looking for)As an experienced and highly driven Project Coordinator, you will have strong communication, interpersonal skills, and crisis management skills. You will have experience in working collaboratively in fast-paced environments, knowledge of statutory requirements e.g., privacy, confidentiality, reporting etc and align with our mission.
