Part-Time Fixed-Term until 31 October 2025Based at our Prison Services office located in DerrimutJustice Health's Mental Health Reform Team is leading the Forensic Mental Health Service Recommissioning Project over the next 10 months, aiming to deliver on:New Forensic Mental Health Quality FrameworkNew Commissioning Approach (including service specifications, funding, and reporting) between Forensicare and Justice HealthTo achieve these deliverables for reform, Justice Health has engaged Forensicare to collaboratively codesign the recommissioning of Forensic Mental Health services. Justice Health will oversee the Project governance, while Forensicare has established a project team to collaborate with Justice Health and across Forensicare programs and directorates (including Strategy and Planning, Health Information Services, and Finance and Business Services) to inform and influence the key project deliverables.In addition to the above aims, this project has been expanded to include the decommissioning of Port Phillip Prison, the relocation of Forensicare's services at Port Phillip Prison to another prison site, and the commissioning of the new Western Plains Correctional Centre.About the Role:The Project Coordinator – Forensic Mental Health Recommissioning Project (FMHRP) role undertakes key project functions supporting the Forensicare FMHRP team to enable the timely delivery of the requirements of the project.
