We are currently partnering with one of Melbourne's leading commercial fit-out builders who have been operating now for over ten years. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team. The opportunity is on an initial 6-month contract basis with a view to it transitioning in to a permanent full-time role.
Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule projects to be cost effective.Liaise with Project and Site Managers to determine project needs and calculate costs.Attain relevant quotes from trades, subcontractors and estimators for works required.Scheduling of trades; ensuring smooth completion of each project.Review of design/architectural documentation for individual projects. About you: Graduated with a construction related degree.Prior experience as a Project Coordinator and/or Junior estimator is desirable though not essential.Proficient with Microsoft Office software.A commitment to learning and a willingness to grow.The majority of projects are based in the North/North Western Suburbs so you will ideally live within a commutable distance of this region.Benefits: The role offers an hourly rate of up to $40 - $60 p/h (experience dependent).An opportunity to work with a vibrant team and grow your career.Potential for permanent employment available following initial contract period.
