TAFE NSW Life-Changing Careers Project Coordinator CoE Program State-wide Opportunity (depending on TAFE NSW campus availability) Temporary Full-time until June 2027 Total Remuneration Package $122,593. Package includes salary of $108,494 – $116,838 pa plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. We are looking to fill 2 x Project Coordinator's positions within the team.

TAFE NSW Manufacturing Centres of Excellence To tackle skill shortages in priority areas, TAFE NSW is launching the TAFE NSW Manufacturing Centres of Excellence (CoE), which is a joint initiative between the Australian Government and NSW Government under the National Skills Agreement. The TAFE NSW Manufacturing CoE is an agile approach to skills acquisition, connecting industry and education partners to foster innovative training pathways and enhance core manufacturing skills.
About the role The Project Coordinator will focus on providing a range of high-level project support services for the Strategic Initiatives team. Duties include office management, advice, managing communications and implementing strategies, risk, issue and project management to support the achievement of the organisation's strategic and operational objectives.
This role will act as the point of contact, liaise with stakeholders, implement, monitor and report on strategic, operational and project plans to inform team decision making and support achievement of organisational objectives. Navigate financial processes and support the mitigation and reduction of risk to the program. Utilise your high-level problem solving, project and procurement experience in a dynamic and autonomous role.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel as required to other TAFE NSW Campus locations at Western Sydney, Hunter and Illawarra Regions.
About You The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience. Significant experience relevant to project management and administration and exposure to project management tools and significant competency in Microsoft Excel. Proven track record and experience in project coordination. Strong community engagement skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Excellent communication, both written and verbal. Organisation skills with a strong attention to detail. Proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong ability to work with stakeholders in a geographically and virtually dispersed environment. Highly Desirable: Experience in project coordination within the manufacturing industry.
