About Us
Our client specializes in providing industrial remediation services and asset preservation solutions across various industries including infrastructure, mining, marine, defense, and commercial sectors. They are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join their defense solutions team at their Adelaide office.
In this role, you will provide high-quality, timely, and professional project administrative and customer service support to operations teams and customers. The position focuses on the delivery of standardized and consistent business processes with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
About the role:
Collaborate with an experienced operations team to deliver essential administrative support for project success.
Assist Project Managers with documentation, reporting, timesheets, and project registers.
Coordinate site inductions for new staff and visitors.
Support the preparation of subcontract agreements and maintain communication records.
Assist Project Managers in job cost analysis, forecasting, billings, and invoicing.
Obtain quotes from suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and value for money.
Maintain accurate project documentation for all stakeholders, ensuring readiness for handovers.
Organize regular meetings and act as the first point of contact for inquiries, providing professional support via phone and written communication.
Create and process purchase orders, check supplier invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare project reports and handle general office administrative tasks as needed.
Maintain personnel records and files for site staff.
Skills and Experience:
At least 3 years experience of project coordination experience in Asset Remediation, Infrastructure, or Defence environments.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field (preferred but not essential).
Proficiency in financial record management, including expenses, invoices, and purchase requisitions.
Familiarity with project financial systems.
Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders across clients, consultants, and operational staff.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
High business and commercial acumen.
Integrity and dedication to building strong relationships.
