Our Unit A unique opportunity exists to join the University of Newcastle as we embark on enhancing our strategic footing for the future. With the announcement of the Australian Universities Accord that will drive transformative reform across the Higher Education system, we are exploring avenues to further enhance our support for students and refine our operational practices to continue to better serve our region.

The Team is responsible for providing resources, insights, and specialised support in the areas of project and change management, communications, and data-informed strategic insights.
Be challenged and imagine with usAs Project Coordinator, Analyst you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the analytical aspects of project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with the University's Performance Excellence priorities.
You will play a key role in driving the success of strategic projects through effective research, reporting, data analysis, and presentation of insights.
In this role you will:
Collect and analyse data, applying business intelligence and analytics to inform decision-making processes.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver actionable information and insights to support the successful delivery of project outcomes.Plan and implement project engagement activities to drive understanding and influence the positive impact of change.This fixed term position is until December 2025, is full time, and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land). Proven project management skills including experience working to competing deadlines to deliver competing priorities.The ability to accurately translate data into actionable insights to inform strategy and project initiatives, including creating clear and impactful reports and presentations.High-level communication skills including the ability manage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.What we offerThe remuneration for this position isfrom$99,655 to $112,112+ 17%superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
