Project Controls Manager – Renewable Energy Developer (Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne)
My client, a leading renewable energy developer, is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join their team. With a focus on delivering major renewable energy projects, the business is taking a self-performing approach, ensuring complete control and oversight of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full spectrum of project controls, including planning, scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting for large-scale renewable energy projects.
Develop and implement robust project control systems to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing insights and solutions to improve project performance.
Monitor project progress, forecast potential risks, and drive corrective actions when necessary.
Provide detailed reports and data analysis to senior management to support decision-making processes.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in project controls within large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
Strong expertise in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6) and cost management systems.
Ability to lead a team, communicate effectively, and drive results in a self-performing environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
