Techforce has partnered with an industry leader in civil works and mining to assist in building and developing their project leadership team. Our prestigious Civil specialist is specifically looking for a Project Controls Lead with proven experience in fast-paced environments as well as specialised experience in running Civil, Construction and Infrastructure projects. Job Responsibilities: As Project Controls Lead, you will be able to see the bigger picture of what the projects' needs are, you will be both a master juggler and a major support to the Project Team. We'll need you to lead across all Project Reporting and Cost Control Methodology. You will need to be a firm hand on the wheel ensuring that the various disciplines such as Estimating, Procurement, Contacts and Engineering align with project budgets and forecasts. Additional responsibilities will include: Providing professional support to the projects team to ensure deliver on time and at a minimum on budget. Ensure communication of relevant project information between the teams. Utilise project controls methodologies, to provide effective input to estimating, procurement, engineering and contracts teams. Manage clients' needs in a prompt, and cost-effective manner. Maintain transparent communications with management, with particular focus on the status of the project as well as issues that can negatively impact the relationship with the client. Utilise project controls methodologies, to provide effective input to estimating, procurement, engineering and contracts teams. Manage clients' needs in a prompt, and cost-effective manner. To be considered you must have: You'll have 5+ years of Engineering or Construction experience with proven experience in Civil, Construction, and Infrastructure. The knowledge of the technical processes that are a part of Construction, Contracts, Engineering and Procurement. Diploma or above in Civil Engineering or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in ERP software, Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project. A well-rounded understanding of various improvement pathways and experience implementing various efficient delivery methods. Proven experience in Risk Management, Change Management, and EVA/EVM Proven experience in managing multiple projects at a time ranging up to 100M. The knowledge of the technical processes that are a part of Construction, Contracts, Engineering and Procurement. Diploma or above in Civil Engineering or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in ERP software, Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project. A well-rounded understanding of various improvement pathways and experience implementing various efficient delivery methods. Proven experience in Risk Management, Change Management, and EVA/EVM Proven experience in managing multiple projects at a time ranging up to 100M.
