Project Controls Coordinator

Element 25 (E25) is developing a vertically integrated global manganese business, with the expansion of Butcherbird Manganese mine in the northwest of Western Australia scheduled to commence in early 2025 and a USA-based High Purity Manganese Sulphate Monohydrate (HPMSM) Processing facility in detailed design and engineering.
The HPMSM Refinery Project has attracted strong funding support from Electric Vehicle Original Equipment Manufacturers including General Motors and Stellantis as well as the US Department of Energy. The Project will process Butcherbird manganese ore into HPMSM, a critical raw material for EV batteries.
E25 is looking to recruit an experienced Project Controls Coordinator to join our project team based in Perth, Western Australia.
Reporting to the Vice President of Battery Materials, the role will manage daily interaction between Project stakeholders, both internal and external, and track, manage and provide to the Project Manager and Project Team comprehensive and reliable data and information about the project status (actual, forecast, trend) and highlight the reasons for and potential mitigation strategies to avert any delays and disruptions.
You are meant for this job if you:
Have broad experience in developing and implementing project control plans in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders, including financiers;Can demonstrate substantial experience in managing, tracking, validating, and verifying the quality of project deliverables;Have a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in project services in the minerals processing or chemical industries, with exposure to large-scale EPC or EPCM projects;Are qualified in Project Management and, ideally, Engineering (preferably Chemical or Mechanical disciplines);Strong computer skills and literacy, including Primavera, MS Project, and Microsoft Suite products;Are an independent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented and organized mindset;Have excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;Commitment to ethical conduct, professionalism, and continuous improvement; andHold an unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence.This position is a Permanent Perth-based position; however, travel to Butcherbird mine site and internationally to the United States of America will be required as part of the role.
